Hi! I'm Roberta, your local Shrewsbury, MA cookie lady. I'm an artist who is also passionate about cooking and baking. I started my baking journey as a teenager, working as a cake decorator for a local bakery. After years of trying out varying artistic pursuits I found my way back to food as a form of creative expression in the Summer of 2019 with decorated sugar cookies.
I make a variety of delicious gourmet cookies for holidays, events and occasions but I specialize in custom designed, artistically decorated royal-iced sugar cookies
I bake all of my cookies from scratch using premium and organic ingredients including: Organic Unbleached Wheat Flour, Organic Eggs, Organic Grade AA Butter, Organic Madagascar Vanilla Beans and Organic Fruit.
I prefer using premium brand products and organic ingredients in all of my cookie recipes - because it matters! My gourmet cookies taste as good as they look. They're not just for show!
I work in small batches and decorate each of my cookies individually by hand using royal icing with edible details. It's a slow process and a labor of love.
